The Executive of the Dufferin Grey ATV Club (DGATV) met at the Dundalk Legion on October 13, 2009 at 7pm.  Highlights of the meeting were: 

DGATV Fall Poker Run Fundraiser (4-Oct-09) – a successful event with 53 registered riders and $700 donated to the Grey County Tornado Fund.  In addition, the event raised $300 for West Grey and $300 for DGATV clubs.

Trail Map – due to ongoing development, publishing a hardcopy map is difficult.  However, we are working on it.

Severn/Coldwater – a new club is being setup as a chapter of Baxter ATV Club. 

Trails: 

·         CP Trail Road 80 Bridge Repair – DGATV strongly supports Klondyke Snowmobile Club’s promotion to repair the bridge in time for the winter season.  Contractor has been selected and the work is about to begin.

·         Plantts Point – area is under water so repair work will have to wait until next year.

·         Parking Signs – content of 4 signs have been finalized and will be ordered. 

OFATV Update: 

·         AGM 2010 (Jun-10) – DGATV is offering to host the 2010 annual general meeting.  Proposal is in the works and will be submitted to the OFATV.

·         Annual Club Registration – documents are being prepared for the 16-Oct-09 deadline. 

Upcoming Events: 

·         Toronto Sportsman Powersports Show (16 to 18-Oct-09) – International Centre, Malton. 

·         DGATV Beaver Valley Run (14-Nov-09) – our club is hosting Huron Shores ATV Club and South Bruce Peninsula ATV Club on a ride to show them how our trails are setup and marked.  Glenn and Tim will be riding out at 10am with any riders who want to join them on this informal ride. 

·         CP Trail (30-Nov-09) – closed for the winter and re-opening on 1-May-10.

·         DGATV Annual General Meeting (7-Mar-10)

·         OFATV AGM (Jun-2010)

·         DGATV Club Runs – to be held on 26-Jun-10, 25-Jul-10, 28-Aug-10, 26-Sep-10, 23-Oct-10.

·         DGATV General Meeting (23-Oct-10)
